I think it would be an advantage to alot of players if some of the winning players would post there stats for the tourneys. You can reset your stats before each tournament and compare them against other players. This might help others see that they are seeing too many flops or calling to many bets. Maybe this will help them get farther in tourneys and possibly win. Like last night mine were: Number of players: 116 Buyin: 4.40 Finish: 10 Flops seen: 21% Hands won: 13% Showdowns won: 53% Losing hand: fullhouse aces over fives to aces over nines TBone

Hi all,
played a couple SNG's last night...here's my stats;
#1) (reset the counter 1 hand into the game) $12+1 SNG (6 people)
hands played: 65 Hands Won: 25% Showdowns won: 89% Flops Seen: 49% Win % if Flop Seen: 47%
(When i fold) Pre-flop: 49% Flop: 17% Turn: 6% River: 2% No Fold: 26%
End result: 1st Place
#2) $10+1 SNG (9 people)
hands played: 85 Hands won: 24% Showdowns won: 58% Flops Seen: 29% Win % if flop seen: 54%
(when i fold) Pre-flop: 62% Flop 5% Turn 2% River: 0% no fold: 31%
end result: 1st place.
It might be benificial to look at the stats in a couple different stages of a game. For instance, at an MTT, my game play up until the final table is very different than what I do at the final table. And then to further that, when you get down to 3 players or less, much more hands are played.
I can even see a difference at the SNG's i played. I played tight aggressive at the beggining..playing very few hands (got down to 9% of flops seen at one point), but when i played, i played very strong. For a while, there were no showdowns, yet my win % was high. Then when the table got down to 3 or less, my stats started going crazy because i'd either be in the big blind with the check option, or have decent cards (decent cards for a heads up match...which is much different than when there's lots of players on the field) and throw a decent raise out to feel out my only oponent.
If i had taken a snapshot of my stats before going heads up, it would have looked a lot tighter.
I played another heads up match for $10, and won. during that heads up match, i played a 30point MTT with about 490+ players, and kinda blew it with bad play. I finished 313 (ouch!)

Great stuff guys. I will begin to post a few stats here myself. I just saw this and I will make sure to post my multi table stuff as tbone stated. I will try to show each hour in stages so that there is a better profile of the first hour play versus the fourth or heaven forbid a fifth hour lol. Burke

Those were some excellent games Shamus. I like the way that you differentiated the difference in tha amount of hands that you are able to play in the later rounds...(The endgame). It is very important for players to know that they can play more hands as the number of players decrease.
Playing tight aggressive is particularly important in your play during sit and goes, because a player should let others make mistakes and get taken out. I'll lay down almost any ace except those that have J, Q or K for a kicker during the sit and goes...particularly in the beginning...As the field narrows, I'll expand the types of hand selection to include other hands as well.
Overall, your stats look very good and the end result proves it. Keep up the great work!!!
All In,

Thanks Randy! I'll post more when i get em. I think i'm going to try the 25k guaranteed tonight at 8:30. If i do, i'll post my scores.
Anyone else got any games going on tonight? I'd love to join ya if you do have plans to play. Also, if you make a post as to where you're already playing, i'd love to observe the game. I'll be checking this site while i'm playing.
It's kinda funny. Not too long ago, i would be calling friends trying to figure out what bar to meet up at on a friday night. Now i look forward to BBQ'ing, drinkin', and play poker at my house (lol). Strangely, i feel i'm being more productive (haha).
talk soon, Shamus

June 30, 2006th @ 3:00 pm EST on All In Poker site.
$10 +$1 sit and go
% of games won: 36% Showdowns won: 100%
(Action)
Fold 42% check: 4% call: 23% bet: 17% Raise: 10% re-raise: 1%
% of flops seen: 34% win percentage if flop seen: 88%
(Where fold)
pre-flop: 59% flop: 2% turn: 2% river: 0% no fold: 36%
Placed: 1st - $50.00
On this particular sit and go I focused on position and player's actions. I Noted that the 3 people to my left were tight players, and capitalized on both pre flop betting to steal the blinds and on 2 looser player's to my right who bet with any high cards in any position. I played the loose player's by ensuring that the hand selection was those of premium cards and betting moderately to induce bets from them into me.
I only made a couple reraises when the looser player's bet out of position to narrow the rest of the field by giving the impression that there was a lot of action during those hands I held great cards.
If you notice, I didn't fold too often after the flop and the turn and none on the river. Essentially what that means to me from an observer's perspective is that I didn't chase down cards. If I didn't catch, I would either check, or fold. This is very important in sit and goes, because you will be counting on other players to be making the mistakes. What it all boils down to at the end is those who make the most mistakes (generally speaking of couse) go out first. Other times, luck will play a big factor as well.
All In,
Randy C -

Yes Danny you should have won...LOL. ;DThis stat posting is to help players get into cashing and later onto the final table. Other players can compare there stats with a winning MTT and see if they made any misstakes. They can compare how many flops they see, if they folded on flop, turn or river...how many hands and showdownswon. The best ones to compare to is the games that end closest to final table. From 20 to 8. Hopefully we will have more players like you making the final table and making $$$$$$. ;D Getting second means you played an awesome game. ;D Don't change anything. ;D TBone
