Our league is in the midst of creating another website to replace the other that had been closed due to infected and lost files. I am currently handing over creative control to one of our league members with a special talent for website design...Brent B aka (mxb72).
Brent is currently in college and is in this field, so he is the PERFECT candidate for this job. Brent has asked to create this suggestion board so that he can read some of your suggestion requests to build the perfect website for our purposes.
I'd really appreciate any and all suggestions that you folks could come up with as it is imperative that we build a suitabe site for our league...One that you will all be proud to say is YOUR home site.
Now, please keep in mind that Brent cannot implement all suggestion requests. He will use whatever suggestions he can.
Thank you all for your support and help with our league.
All In,
Randy C -

well i think to start we need to just get it up with the standings and the results posted an take it from there...now with that said lets not have that long load time like randy had ha ha lol ok if you can have the opening page where cards are flying all over the screen i think that would be cool

I think everyones pics and a short bio of that person would be nice. Lots of artistic references to poker. Obviously a point standing. Info section of course cause we aim to educate. Forum would be cool where we can all collect and converse privately like last time. I basically liked everything that was there before. Just my thoughts. Burke
ps better third party server too lol

{"Within the next week week i should have all the pages complete and i can work on the text. That shouldnt take that long so i think it safe to say we are almost ready to publish it."} From mxb13 Brent B -
Here's an excerpt from an email I received from Brent this evening. I would safely guesstimate that our site could potentially be published within the next 2 weeks...I know, I'm excited, too!

Hey Jdaddy,
Ran into a few issues with the copy of dreamweaver i purchased. Trying to straighten a few things out and I'll see what I can come up with. Sorry for the delay, and any inconvenience.

I had asked mxb72 (Brent) to work on the new website. The last I heard from Brent was that he had begun the new website, and he even sent me a sample of how the site was to look. We were working together on it, (he was doing the html codes and entry, and I was providing details on what material I wanted included etc...
From what Brent emailed me, the copy of the website building program that he had was a pirated copy. I was under the impression that he was going to be getting a new copy and that he would get going on the new site ASAP.
I will call him again and find out what the deal is. Unfortunately, I don't have any concrete answers as to when it will be done because it really is in Brent's hands. I'm certainly open to anyone who has other ideas or perhaps someone else who has website building experience who would be willing to make a little extra money building a site for us.
All In,
Randy C~

That sure does sound good. I'm going to check into that. I don't know how easy it would be to pull off but I like the idea for sure.
What I can tell you all about the new site is that it will BLOW the old site out of the water and it will be a site you will be proud to send your friends to. The new site will have MANY extras, such as a pot odds calculator, a beginner hold em course along with quizzes, a blogging site, an online poker player search engine that is cool as hell (you can search out 90% of the online players and find out how they play and what style player they are), and many other REALLY cool poker tools that people will use all the time.
I'm very excited about this new site and one thing's for sure...Once you see it, it'll bring this entire league to an entirely new level. That much I promise.
All In,
Randy
