I would like to say congratulations to Tom for his win on Tuesday's league tourney. He and Doc just kept knocking people out 1 by 1. It was all I could do to just stay alive. I watched the two of them battle for over 40 minutes until he edged Doc out. I managed to stay in for around 10 minutes even with a 10000 chip deficit and when he called my raise with a pair of 4s, I said gg and threw my last 800 in. He never let me gain too many chips keeping the table in his favor. All I can say Tom great play. Tbone

That was one of the most outstanding performances I have seen in a while at the final table. Tom, Tony, and Doc all played superb poker. Another thing that impressed me was the attitudes of the competitors. The respect that was demonstrated for each other was incredible and it is a credit to the quality of people in our league. I, for one am VERY impressed.
For those of you who hadn't met, or played against Tom, you should know that he is a very prolific player. On the local circuit here, he is a force to be reckoned with, and plays a very solid game.
TBone, who came in second, was behind in chips, but played a very calculating game. For those of you that had the benefit of watching Tom, Doc and Tony at the end, saw what had to be one of the finest displays of poker our league has yet seen.
Doc was impressive as well. He also had a commanding chip lead, but was taken out by Tom who just narrowly covered his stack. It was very close...and very impressive!
Great Job guys!!!!
All In,
Randy C -
