i think it's crazy I play in a few tavern leagues and I have a blast and it costs me nothing to play. Of course i buy a drink or two but hey, isn't that the idea? I think this is getting out of hand.

That is crazy. I live in Illinois and there is a poker tourney with a 20 dollar buy in every Thursday night at the local Elks Club. I hope they don't find out about that.
