A on the turn im crippled and go on tilt and push the rest with 3s and get murdered by jacks... did i play this right or no? go out in 23rd... im talking about the KQs

It's tough not calling there where you have people playing everything, especially in a short handed game. you have two pair and need to double up and your up against a wreckless player. The only thing you can really do is put your money and and hope he doesn't get lucky and out draw you.
I was in a hand yesterday with two pair OJ and the board read AQJ he re-raised me and I pushed all in figuring if he has the K10 then it's his if not then he's going to have to get lucky. Of course he had the K 10 and I was the one needing to get lucky and catch that J on the river, but he was playing a lot of different hands and I had to make up my mind that I wasn't going to give up on my hand and if he had it he had it, so be it. I think setting your in position before you play helps to eliminate any second guessing afterwards because you are all ready ok with how you are playing the hand no matter what the out come will be.

I am a firm believer in taking a pot away from someone when I can. If I see a remote chance that a draw is out there I cut it off quick. No sense in letting a guy see another card when he has a 8 or 9 out draw. Lots of things to consider though. Table position is my first, who is the goofball sucker I am calling or who has called me, texture of the flop ie. is there any possible draw. Also a key factor is how many people are left in the tourney. A lot of times I have sat back and watched guys fall around me all the while I'm nursing a micro stack into the money. Some people think that just because its a good hand that it must be their last. If you miss you miss when the flop comes. No need to commit suicide, but on the same note take it when you think you've got it. Don't ever let someone see an extra card if you think it can help them in any way. If you catch the nuts then milk it. But if I've got it and I am nervous a draw will hit and kill me, I nail my opponent with a nasty raise. Hope I helped. Burke
