Steamin here..... ok blinds 100-200 im shortstacked at the table with about 2k... im in late position and get 8's, folds to me I push all in... folds to big blind and he insta calls me with J7 os and sure enough he turns his J and i'm done... Maybe I shouldnt have pushed. Maybe I should have limped and seen a flop? Or maybe I should of picked a better spot to push. I was tryin to make a move, there was 70 ppl left outta 200+. What do you guys think?

My opinion...I think that the all in was certainly one option, but you were putting your tournament life at risk for a medium pair. I might have tried raising to 600 there. That would have left you with more options if all hell broke loose after the flop.
Sometimes no matter what we raise, we will always get one or two guys who will call with BS and suck out on us. I'm assuming that this guy who called you had more chips than you did...Dependent on how MUCH MORE would have been the decisive factor for me as to whether or not a big raise or an all in was in order in that spot.
Hey, we all get sucked out on from time to time. We learn fro those hands and apply the lessons to a later tourney...Maybe that hand will save you hundreds of dollars on down the road, right? You played a great game anyway...and there's always tomorrow.
All In,

Well put guys.... He had about 3500 in chips... so he was risking more than half his stack on J7... Was more confused than anything....
