Nice job Ner. Nice job Dales. You guys made a little money today. I just didnt have the steam to sit at the final table with ya. It was cool tho i ended up dumping what i had off on Dales. Glad to be able to give him that small pile I had left for his climb to the final table. Good job and glad to have you with us. My wife likes to play the beginner sitngos and I prefer the 20 sitngos and the 10-20 dollar multi tourneys so look for us. Stop at my table and say hi. Burke aka TripleB333 ;D
PS dont cash out or the losing streak will start.

Burke is right....I know many people think it's hogwash, and they're entitled to their opinion, but I withdrew $1200 about 6 weeks ago and I went on the worst losing streak I have ever had. In fact, Magichandz, another league member withdrew $500 and went on a losing streak around the same time. He just quit Bodog altogether because of the beats he was getting...And I wicked miss playing with Moe, too! It wasn't until I deposited another $100 that my losing streak ended...Coincidence? I highly doubt it...That's just too much of a coincidence. From now on, the only time I'll withdraw is when I get a few thousand in there...Believe that!

I doubt Moe will be back. He was really taking a beating on the site. It's a shame though because he is one of the good guys, and the beats he was taking were UNREAL! Unfortunately, he just got to the point where he made up his mind that he had hit the point of no return. He shared with me the last bad beat story, and it's a doozey... He was holding pocket K's and made a decent size raise. One guy called the raise and the other went all in, trying to steal the pot it seems. Both Moe and the other guy called. The guy who went all in held A6os and the other pocket Q's. Moe was feeling pretty good about his chances. The flop came 4, 4, 4! Now Moe was holding a full house. The turn cam, it was a blank...Finally that dreaded river card...It was another 4. Moe's pocket K's fell as second best hand to the donkey who went all in with A6os!
We all get bad beats...I know this...Been around long enough to see them happen a lot, but sometimes it just happens too much and a person is just not willing to donate anymore money to what he perceives is a losing cause. I'll work on Moe a bit, but I can certainly understand his frustration.

Randy I don't know what to say bud. I feel as though a lot of my bad beats are due to bad decisions on my part. Playing the hand wrong if you will. Then I get donked on by some idiot who should not have been in the hand. Now thats his fault, or maybe its still mine for getting involved. Either way in my opinion I feel that all in before the flop and you are gambling, not playing poker. Even if you have pocket aces you are gambling. You put the odds in your favor yes but after the flop things change. I'm not saying anything about Moes talent or his ability to play. I have felt the same thing as far as the cashout loss streak goes. But I will say this, I myself am a newbie, and I could tell you some of the sickest storys ever. Like catching a flush with a pair of dueces, chasin a third duece lol. I do feel as though Bodog has "set up flops" which they use to keep the action going. And there in lies the problem. Some people cannot be pushed off of a particular hand, be it ace king suited or pocket threes . And when those types of players get in with those hands before the flop and have a chance to see the community, well then they start to play the game. Then its no longer a gamble so much. Now that they have seen the flop they have options cause Bodog has set them up with a sweet draw. Then an obvious bad beat is right around the corner. Take for instance last night when adam took out dalesbad with a jack 4 suited. Huge pot, Adam rivered Dales with a flush. Guess what I am trying to say is this, it makes sense for a business such as Bodog to put us in those positions to make that money. We might think its greedy on thier part or unfair but it does make sense nontheless. I don't condone their ways but what can I do. Write em a letter? Lets start our own poker site. Randy you move to Costa Rica and set up the over seas accounts. I'll handle recruiting in the states. Tom can be support cause hes busy all the time. We wouldnt want to listen to the whining anyway lol. Bodog in their relentless pursuit of the American dollar has pushed away one of our finest players. I am guessing that Moe has taken a piece of Bodog with him over time. I am glad he has decided to get away while he is on the plus side. I really enjoyed playing Magichandz and will miss the comradery that he presented to me. A Gentleman and a Scholar. Burke

gris i think you hit the nail on the head as they say.... everything from bodog setting up hands so the action is big and ocasionally the poker player himself gambling and getting himself into situations.... I am a newbie myself well about a 2 yrs (still a newbie in my opinion) and have found many ppl to be right when they say its all about making the right decisions at the tables. If you make good choices sometimes things can arise and go wrong thats the nature of the beast we call poker... Just gotta get your money in with the best of it and let the cards fall as the may... ANYTHING can happen! Like adam busting my k's last night with his spiked 6's stuff happens... bastard! jk man
