To Join or not to join??? THAT is the question! With so many online poker sites out there who are all competing for your hard earned bux, the process of choosing a poker site is just that..."A process"...
A poker site that is good for you may not be a good one for me, and vice versa. The primary focus of a decision to join a site or sites must utilize a complete scan and research of what is avilable out there. And asking people if the site is decent can be tricky for the very reason I stated in the opening statement of this thread...A particular site may be great for me, but horrible for you.
Many poker sites advertise these amazing sign up bonuses such as "deposit today and receive 700% bonus". But in the fine print it says that you must have a gazillion raked hands to realize any real money at all, at which time the site will throw one or two dollars your way! HOGWASH!!! Don't get suckered in by these promotions.
I join poker sites because the competition is soft. I'll also join a site because that site may contain a number of tourneys or sit and goes that I like to play. And I also must like the type of people the site attracts most of all...I LOATHE punks!
Variables: those miscellanious things that, when all put together, either gives me a reason or reasons to join or... not to.
The best advice that I can give to a person considering joining another poker site or sites is to do a comprhensive and exhaustive research of MANY different sites, after which time you will have a better understanding of what it is that you are looking for.
Good Luck!
All In,
Randy C

To double post or not to double post, for that is the question. It's really hard to do a complete analyze on a poker site without joining it. Even if you join a sit for play money you can never truly know how well the site is until you've played at the different levels and against people who are there to play real poker and not this all-in on a whim with play chips. But once you have examined the site and decide that it is something that you wish to deposit money into you wont be allowed to sign up under PPZ program if you didn't do so before hand.
