There are a few things I want to talk about in this thread that a poker player who is trying to make money should never, ever do! - Never play when you are angry.
Never play with the television on.
Don't surf the net while you're involved in a game.
Don't play when you are intoxicated.
Don't play while you are on the telephone.
Don't play when there are other distractions that could take your focus off the game.
Never EVER play beyond your financial means.
Don't play after (or during) an argument with your spouse or significant other.
Don't play another game that is double the amount of a previous game to win back your losses.
Never veer from your strategy.
Don't openly show your anger or frustration to your opponents.
Never play when you are depressed, lonely or tired.
Follow these simple guidelines and you will see that your poker game will steadily improve. You are witnessing firsthand years of valuable experience summed up in one thread...Trust me...these are not just guidelines, they are poker's rules of engagement! All In, Randy C -
