Heh guys and girls. It has been a long time theory that if you cash out you lose right? Well there is hope indeed for this troubling problem.
Let us all step back for a minute and speculate with me. Let us say that Bodog as a business needs to stay in business by one thing, The Rake. We can all agree on that. Now having said that would it not also make sense to say Bodog makes more money on a whole if there is more total money to be raked. Let us then say that Bodog has a program to target a player that has cashed out over a certain amount. They can't punish everyone right. So a limit must be set. Again pure speculation here folks. That means that everyone who cashes out a large amount (the biggest threat to their total money able to rake) will encounter a slump. Thinking this way would make the high stakes ring games a real mess but allow Bodog to make money hand over fist.
Now on to the point of this article. Everyone saw me smokin it up on the tables two weeks ago in the sunday league games. 3rd and 5th for the day made a nice lil haul of 150 bucks or so. I had cashed down to 20 bucks the day prior. I forgot to leave enough for a couple of games to get some multi money to play sunday. I had 20 bucks left going into sunday without playing anything since the cash out. Now if ever there was a time for the theory to ring true it was that day. A lot of you have complained of serious drops in winning since their cash outs. I have as well when they are large amounts. BUT....... since i have dropped the amount down to 50-75 dollars it has gone away. I feel no repercussions of any kind. I keep my cash outs small and frequent and it has been working like a charm. To date I have cashed out over 800 dollars since i have dropped the increment level and have had tremendous success. I surely hope that all of us here at the Zone can step around this idea. I am a strong believer in my theory of cashing out and emplore you all to at least try it for a week or two to see if you notice any type of difference. Now if you get beat by a better hand and its your fault try not to blame Bodog as it will hurt your game. But if you honestly just get hammered after a big cashout then give my way a try. Hope I helped. Burke
