Dave Ulliott Guaranteed $192,715 at World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Classic Championship The Devilfish goes deepDave 'Devilfish' Ulliott has reached the final table of the World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Classic championship at Bellagio, Las Vegas, guaranteeing him a payday of $192,715 for his efforts. The winner will pick up $2,482,605 for beating the other 625 entrants.
The final six players and their chip counts heading into tomorrow are:
Seat 1 - Ken Rosen - 1,135,000 Seat 2 - Ted Kearly - 1,620,000 Seat 3 - Jordan Rich - 6,585,000 Seat 4 - Eugene Katchalov - 8,360,000 Seat 5 - Ryan Daut - 330,000 Seat 6 - David Ulliott - 1,900,000
Ulliott, a former WPT champion, is one of the most popular and recognizable players in European poker, and was aided in his attempt to make the final table by a timely double-up in the final stages of play yesterday.
In hand 63 after the break, Ulliott raised under the gun to 230,000, and Ryan Daut moved all in from the big blind. The Englishman quickly called all in for 1.45 million with KK . Daut showed AJ.
The board came 7 4 3 7 8, and Ulliott's pocket kings held up.
