Exclusive $1 Rebuy and $5 Freezout Tournaments to be Held Today and Tomorrow
CardPlayer.com readers have two final chances to qualify for the $500 Bodog Poker main event for as little as $1, and one of those opportunities is in just two hours.
Bodog is holding two private tournaments, exclusive to Card Player readers, both of which guarantee at least one seat into the main event. The cheapest of the two is occurring in just about two hours, at 8:35 p.m. ET today. The tournament has a $1 buy-in and offers $1 rebuys until the first break. Players start with 1,000 in chips and can rebuy anytime they lose all of their chips. The tournament is called the “Card Player Rebuys BPO Qualifier” and the password needed for entry is “cprebuy” (all lowercase).
The other exclusive event goes down tomorrow (Saturday) at 5:05 p.m. ET. That qualifier is a $5 freezeout and can be found in the Bodog lobby under the name “Card Player Members BPO Qualifier.” Players in that tournament start with 1,500 in chips. The password to enter the tournament is “lastchance” (all lowercase).
The Bodog Poker Open main event will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET, and Bodog is adding $25,000 to the prize pool of the event. It is very likely to be the biggest tournament Bodog has ever held. Additional qualifiers for the main event, aside from the Card Player exclusive events above, are also running daily leading up to the event. There are also two more preliminary events to be held in the series, both hold’em events, which take place today and tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET.
